Wisconsin Alzheimers Dementia Legislative Task Force Speaks

The Wisconsin Alzheimer's Dementia Task Force has listed 6 interventions they hope will improve our States ability to keep seniors in their home longer.  These are long term initiatives designed to address predictable needs across our aging communities.

- address the shortage of elder care providers
- funding for earlier diagnostic capability
- funding for curative research
- review and update guardianship laws
- improve ability to respond to dementia crisis
- educate children about Alzheimer's and dementia

This is about unifying participants to bolster the Alzheimer's dementia systems operating capacity.  Individuals in our local communities are getting older. These changes are a proactive approach to best address an expected increase of frequency and intensity of the undesired symptoms of Alzheimer's and Dementia.
