Over the Wisconsin Dells Wo-Zha-Wa Fall Festival we park vehicles on a vacant lot located on 814 Cedar Street, Wisconsin Dells. During the weekend of 2016 we received 2 separate visits from restaurant owners seeking a customer parking solution.
The restaurant owners explained if they were able to advertise the availability of parking for their customers it could be a competitive edge in a market constricted by a short season. The restaurant owners were looking to lease parking space.
On Tuesday 9/20/16 we contacted our Alderman who forwarded the intent to create a B2B parking lot Real Estate Lease to the Municipal Council. We met with a Wisconsin Dells Real Estate Broker who suggested we consider a 5 year lease. This would be 30k per year with 50k due at the signing of the Real Estate Lease for a total of 150k. The Real Estate Broker explained he collaborated with an Attorney who would look the terms and conditions over during the executory phase of the contracting process.
This would be one regular size city lot - paved and painted lines very similar to the parking lot behind the Famous Daves Restaurant in Wisconsin Dells on Cedar Street. This type of collaboration will strengthen the growth producing fabric an emerging business district can use to spring board the whole community in to a progressive stance.
